Wayne Grudem is Research Professor of Bible and Theology at Phoenix Seminary in Scottsdale, Arizona. He received a BA from Harvard University, an MDiv from Westminster Seminary, and a PhD from the University of Cambridge, England. Dr. Grudem has served as president of the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood and as president of the Evangelical Theological Society. His books as author or editor include Systematic Theology, The Gift of Prophecy in the New Testament and Today, and Recovering Biblical Manhood and Womanhood. Dr. Grudem was also a member of the Translation Oversight Committee for the English Standard Version of the Bible published in 2001.
